Die Fakultät für Computertechnik wurde 1976 nach der Umstrukturierung der Fakultät für Radioelektronik und Computertechnik gegründet. Sie zeichnet sich durch ihre Wettbewerbsposition und Qualität des Bildungs- und Wissenschaftsprozesses aus, die den Bedürfnissen der Kunden von Bildungsprogrammen in den Bereichen Informatik, Computertechnik, Informationssysteme, Informationstechnologien, Dokumentenmanagement entsprechen und den Anforderungen des russischen und internationalen Bildungsstandards genügen.

Alle Fakultätslabors sind mit Hochleistungscomputern, modernen Bürogeräten und anderer Computerhardware ausgestattet. Darüber hinaus sind einige Labors mit speziellen Schulungskits, Messinstrumenten und Mikrosimulatoren verschiedener Typen ausgestattet, mit denen Laborkurse zum Studium von Elektronik, ECM-Schaltungstechniken, Mikroprozessorsystemen, ECM-Peripheriehardware und deren Konnektivitätssystemen mit ECM organisiert werden können.

Die Fakultät für Computertechnik umfasst das Labormuseum für Computerausrüstung, in dem Elemente, Geräte und ECM-Proben verschiedener Generationen vertreten sind.
